Terms and Conditions of Hire

During the hire of our skips, the hirer (you) is responsible for the loading and placement of the skip. This includes preparing your drive to recieve the skip. If you would like your driveway protected, this must be completed before our arrival. Drivers do not carry wood to place under the skips. Due to the nature of our deliveries, skips must be transported on solid vehicle base, therefore, we are unable to provide the protection for you.
You will be held liable if damage occurs to our property (skip). This could happen due to unsafe loading or repositioning of the bin.
In an event of a fire, we reserve the right to charge the client the full cost of bin replacement. Alternatively, we may also charge for repairing the damaged skip, which will include labor and cost of materials. These charges will be at the current market price. Furthermore, any other damages will be charged to the client before the skip is collected. This could mean your collection will be delayed. All skips must be paid before delivery by card payment over the phone or a bank transfer. Cash payment can be accepted, whoever a deposit must be paid by card to secure your delivery. If payment of cash is not completed at the time of delivery, a card payment will be required before collection. We do not collect any others without prior payment.

Please ensure your drive is clear and ready for delivery. If you would like the driveway protected, this must be ready before we arrive. A sheet of ply wood will suffice to prevent possible scratches if your driveway is paved. Our drivers do not carry wood protections on their lorries. Therefore, the responsibility lies solely with the person hiring the skip. Ensure the drive and subterrain is strong enough to receive an 18T Vehicle. We do not accept any liabilities for damaged drives, due to their strength, this includes manhole covers. Please protect them if it will require us to drive over them. Furthermore, we require 3m Width for access, therefore please ensure your gate is wide enough. We do not accept liabilities for damages to fence/ tree/ shrubs/vehicles due to poor access.
Do not move skips by hand. This action could cause issues and damage your property. The vehicle needs to safely collect the skip. If you would like your driveway protected, please prepare the wood before delivery.

Skips must be loaded only up to a LEVEL load. Overloaded skips will not be taken away, should the driver believe the load is unsafe. The security netting is not designed to hold waste above the level of the skip secure. It is there to prevent loose waste from blowing off in transit. We invite you to act responsibly by ensuring your load is safe for transport. We need a least of 3m clearance for skips 6 yard and above for delivery and collection. So please make sure you have enough room for our lorry to enter your property. We do not accept any liability for damage caused by our vehicles whilst on your property. This includes damage when entering your property due to lack of space, weak subterrain, or a weak driveway. We reserve the right to remove some of the waste. This applies if the waste is deemed dangerously over the level of the skip. We may do this without prior notice.

The normal hire period is up to 10 days. After this time, we reserve the right to collect the skip without prior notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify us, should they require an extension, we offer extended period free of charge. Your requested collection date will be arranged with the office. However, occasionally we may need an extra few days. This could occur after your scheduled collection request.

All our orders are confirmed at the time of order. If you need to cancel or reschedule the delivery, we need at least 24hr notice. Cancellations, as well as Rescheduling of your delivery, must be by phone at 01206 234986. Failed attempts of delivery or collections will be charged £50.00 plus vat as per our terms and conditions.
All canceled orders which qualify for a refund are under a £5.00 administration fee. The rest will be refunded onto the card used at the time of booking.
Orders canceled less than 24hrs before delivery will be liable to a £50% refund. Orders which have already been shipped will not qualify for a refund.

It is the customer’s responsibility to guarantee ample room for the skip on their property. Our skips can’t be placed on the road. Instead, we offer a wait-and-load service. Please call us to arrange this. Drivers are all trained to deposit skip in such a manner, it can be collected. Thus, please make sure the skip is not moved from the position we have left it at. Furthermore, any skips that have been moved and can’t be collected will lead to extra costs. These costs are for wasted collections. We need a least of 3m clearance for delivery and collection. So please make sure you have enough room for our lorry to enter your property. We do not accept any liability for damage caused by our vehicles. This includes instances when they are on or entering your property due to lack of space, weak subterrain, or driveway.
